Produits 

All project results have been carried out as they had been described in the project’s application

• a school’s presentation
• a project logo
• a shopping guide for sustainable shopping in the partner’s respective hometowns
• a presentation of a local and popular game or sport
• a presentation of endemic animals and plants in the region of the partner schools and participation in a self-developed Kahoot-quiz
• a plan for a model school that works as a prototype for future schools
• memes that aim to raise awareness and provide information on how to reduce the human carbon footprint.

Impacts

Pupils:

• developed their capacity to build a more sustainable future regarding ecology, economy, society and politics
• improved their motivation, self-confidence, academic performance and class behaviour
• increased their social skills through transnational cultural teamwork requiring tolerance, cooperation, empathy for others and problem-solving skills
• enhanced their ICT skills as they used various ICT tools to produce outputs and plenty of collaborative tools to work with other pupils
• increased their language skills in real-life and multilingual contexts by staying in host families and working with other foreign pupils
• extended their knowledge of the partner countries’ cultural heritage and geographical diversity thus redefining identity towards being independent, responsible and tolerant European citizens and becoming prepared for future jobs.

Perspectives 

Due to the great interest and commitment of the pupils involved in the topic, a follow-up project is planned in 2024-2026 to consolidate what has been learned.
